MossRehab has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist with CVA experience to provide leadership on the inpatient Stroke Unit at MossRehab at Elkins Park, while maintaining their hands on clinical skills with a small caseload of their own.
In this position you will:
Clinically Advance and develop a nationally recognized program
Provide occupational therapy for assigned patients within the service and supervise the professional staff on the service
Serve as a resource, mentor and role model to program based therapists
Serve as coordinator and spokesperson for the department of Occupational Therapy in program-based activities
Provides service to children through older adults in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served
If you possess the following qualifications, please apply immediately:
A minimum of 5 years experience with 2 years in management
Master's Degree preferred
License from the state of Pennsylvania in occupational therapy required
CPR certification required
Resource in low- and high-tech assistive technology
Resource in upper extremity function
Supporting individuals in developing bowel, bladder and sexual function
Empower individuals who require assistance from caregivers to direct care
Educate Peer Resources and Self Advocacy.
