| Abrazo West Campus (located at 136th Avenue and McDowell Road in Goodyear) is a 200-bed acute care hospital serving the healthcare needs of the residents of the southwest Valley since September 2003. Abrazo West Campus has been recognized for high standards of quality and safe patient care by being named a recipient of the Women�s Choice Award as one of America�s Best Hospitals in Emergency Care. They are also accredited by The Joint Commission and are a Joint Commission-designated Primary Stroke Center and accredited Chest Pain Center. Most recently, Abrazo West Campus has achieved a grade A for Leap Frog. As a state designated Level 1 Trauma Center, Abrazo West Campus serves the critically injured patients in the Western Region of Arizona. Job Summary
Coordinates functions and activities related to a single departmental function. Position is responsible for a clinic unit. Position coordinates the scheduling efforts of the unit RN's. Acts as liaison person to internal and external customers (i.e., pre-hospital providers, medical and nursing staff, hospital administration). Responsible for developing and implementing plans/processes for meeting regulatory requirements. Trains and mentors staff.
**Position requires call � Must reside within a 30 mile radius of hospital** Qualifications: Minimum Education: Associates Degree in Nursing
Preferred Education: Bachelors Degree in Nursing
Minimum Experience: 3 - 5 year of operating room experience
Preferred Experience: 5 years of operating room experience
Required Certifications/Licensure: Current RN license in the state of Arizona, or compact state.
Preferred Certifications/Registration: CNOR
Special Skills: Ability to operate in stressful situations, acts with diplomacy. Learns physician preferences and applies knowledge to working environment.
