This is an advanced and highly technical security position that will protect Nemours against Cyber Security threats. The ideal applicant will have a passion for digital forensics, incident response, and security operations. The position requires the individual to possess skills related to the monitoring, reporting, and auditing of security events and applications. The primary function of this role is to implement security controls that prevent and detect threats, ensure those systems are operating and functioning as designed, and respond to security incidents as a seasoned incident responder. Additionally, this individual will be a lead worker and train, coach, and mentor junior level analysts on security best practices, operational procedures, and incident response. This position can either be located in Orlando, Florida OR Jacksonville, Florida.
Provides senior level support to the Security Engineering and Operations team
Analyzes relevant cyber security event data for attack indicators and breaches that may yield detection and prevention content
Creates and maintains Standard Operating Procedures, work instructions, incident playbooks and other documentation required by leadership
Dynamic /static malware analysis and memory analysis; results of analysis leads to newly added detection or prevention measures.
Trains team members and others on incident response procedures, lead analyst role during incidents and table-top exercises
Operational support lead for multiple security technologies including but not limited to web proxy, EDR, remote vendor management, and Intrusion Prevention System (IPS).
Assist with third party information security assessments, such as penetration tests and security program reviews.
Assist with awareness and training.
Any other duties as assigned by management.

An Associate's degree is required as well as at least 3 years of prior experience.
