In an effort to provide recovery support to our clients in the Rochester, MN area and to those who need us, but don't know us yet:
The Pride Institute is coming to Rochester!
The Pride Institute is the nation's first and leading provider of residential and outpatient treatment programs exclusively treating substance abuse and mental health needs of the LGBTQ+ community. With a 42-bed Residential program in Eden Prairie, MN that provides integrated treatment services for adults with chemical dependency, sexual compulsivity, and co-occurring disorders, and an Intensive Out-Patient (IOP) program in the Uptown area of Minneapolis, we have been providing our clients a comfortable, safe alternative to traditional treatment programs for over 30 years.
We are excited to announce the opening of our new IOP facility, located at 4104 18th Ave NW in Rochester. We are currently seeking an exceptional full-time Counselor (or two), and that's where YOU come in. We will initially be offering programming on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, but anticipate expanding our offerings to meet the needs of our clients. Work schedules will depend on client needs, so we are looking for creative and organized candidates with relatively flexible schedules.
Pride staff are a diverse, compassionate, and dedicated group. Some of us are part of the community and some of us are allies. Some of us are in recovery and some of us have only witnessed the devastation caused by addiction. Some of us came to Pride with limited knowledge of the unique challenges experienced by our clients and some of us have personally faced those challenges. We are always learning from each other and from our clients.
Our LADCs provide on-going assessments, treatment planning, progress reviews, and continuing care planning. They deliver engaging, culturally responsive, person-centered individual/group counseling sessions involving recovery education.
